Visit: Meeting with the guide in Fivizzano at Porta di Sotto or Sarzanese (piazza Garibaldi) - Presentation of the city in the premises of the "Service Center for Tourism" - Church of Prisons "Tomba di Labindo" - Cycle of frescoes in the cloister of San Giovanni Battista and garden of the Augustinian Convent – Museum of San Giovanni - Il Marzocco in Piazza del Marzocco - Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and Medici Fountain – Museum of Printing "Jacopo da Fivizzano" and Palazzo Fantoni-Bononi - Porta di Sopra or Modenese and walk along the Medici walls

Topic: "The work of man in Monzone and the valley of the river Lucido between water and marble"
Visit: Guided visit to the Museum of Work in the Valle del Lucido
Description: Guided tour of the museum where the transition from agriculture to the industrial economy is documented with all its historical and cultural consequences. Inside is reconstructed, in model, the Cable car of the Balzone (the largest made by man for the transport of marble) and it’s documented the excavation of quartzite and lime processing. Vintage films tell the story of the quarryman’s work in the first half of the 20th century. Euro 3,00/per person
Fourth Option - Duration 2 hours and a half
Topic: "The work of man in Monzone and the valley of the river Lucido between water and marble"
Visit: - Guided visit to the Museum of Labour in the Valle del Lucido - 19th century Gora - Springs of the locality Acqua Nera - Visit to an ancient mill - Visit the ruins of a lime kiln
Description: Guided visit to the museum (see proposal no,3). The itinerary continues walking along with a nineteenth-century Gora that was used for the operation of the wash and turbine of the marble sawmill. In a few minutes walk you reach the resort Acqua Nera where you can taste the waters of two different springs: a salty and a sweet and rich in minerals. Next to the springs, there is an old mill still in operation which shows us the direct application of the water force that moves the millstones. A few meters away we can also see the ruins of a lime kiln. Euro 6,00/ per person
Fifth Option- Duration 2 hours and a half
Topic: Medici Aqueduct
Visit: - Meeting with the guide at the service centre for tourism - First cistern (loot) at the cemetery of Fivizzano - illustration of the route of the Medici aqueduct - Fountain behind the theatre - Medici Fountain in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele - Fountain-wash (Fontana di Sotto) Description: The itinerary takes place in the center of Fivizzano following the route of the Medici aqueduct indicated in the work "Le Fontane di Fivizzano" by S. Andreani (1913). The theme is that of water supply to the historic city. Euro 3,00/ per person
Many other interesting proposals of itineraries to discover the territory and its history, the traditions with the route focused on Marocca di Casola, delicious peasant bread of chestnuts and wheat still produced by Fabio in his oven of Regnano; and the itinerary to discover the medieval art and the monuments of the ancient Romans.
Note: The payment of the fees must be made upon arrival to the operators. Free: one guide/ teacher every 10 paying. It is possible to book the lunch basket (with local products and foods) at a cost of Euro 7,00. The proposals can be combined to take the whole day. Minimum group of 15 participants. The cost per participant is inclusive of museum tickets
